Custom Golf Bags Are Not Just For The Pro's

Custom golf bags are usually the big bags you see the touring pro's using. They are the staff bags with big company sponsors on them. These bags come loaded to the hilt with space, and comes that is a bag that can weigh substantially more than your standard cart or stand bag.

There are many reasons to get a custom golf bag. Maybe you want to promote your own company with it. Maybe you want to "look like a pro" when you play. Or maybe you were tired of the standard off the shelf bags, and wanted to bite the bullet and get your very own custom bag to play golf with.

The term custom doesn't necessarily mean that it's a big, bulky staff bag. It can also mean a bag you had specifically designed for your options and accessories. This is not usual, and mostly the "big money" guys go to this length to get a custom golf bag.

Custom, can just mean you've had your company, school or sponsor added to the bag. This makes it custom because no one else has a bag with the same information on it.

Unless you have connections, you can't normally contact Nike, Titleist or Callaway and get a custom bag. If it were that easy, more golfers would be walking around with their own custom bags. Usually you have to go through your local golf shop. They can then tell you what brands and models of bags you can choose from and what exactly you can modify to make it customized to your specification.

This process can take up to 6 weeks to get your completed bag. By the time they you make your requests, they submit the order, and you are on the course playing with it, it is going to be 2 months. There may be a couple of websites that can turnover a custom bag for you quicker.

If that's the case, do a google search for "custom golf bags" and see what sites come up. Don't forget to look at the ads to the right, as these are mostly companies and not just online resources.
