Can Your Cart Golf Bag Fit In Your Car

This is silly, but I have heard horror stories of cart golf bags not fitting in the trunks of many cars. In fact, there are many coupe models that won't fit a golf bag meant for a cart.

Man...what's the purpose of having a nice golf bag if you can't fit it in your car and take to the course? I have a couple of golf buddies with fancy sports cars, and they have to put their golf bags in the passenger seat or jam it into the "non-existent" back seat.

What a pain to have to put your bag inside your car seat just to play a round or even go to the practice range! It's amazing to me that when you're making a car-buying decision, one of the first questions if you're a golfer is..."will the trunk hold my golf bag?"

Here's another fun scenario. Say you have to go do some grocery shopping. You now have 6 bags of groceries you want to put in the trunk of your car, but your big cart golf bag is in there...ugh! Now you have to try to move the bag around enough just to get your groceries in there!

I've been there and done that! And still do! As a golfer, it's a fact of life, we are inconvenienced by life's chores and responsibilities.

If you want a cart golf bag, you better make sure it can fit in your trunk! If not, it will be one BIG hassle after another...everytime you want to play or practice. And forget taking a buddy with you! What's he going to do...hold the bag in his hand outside his side of the car window?

I know this topic may sound goofy, but I can guarantee you've experienced the same thing, but maybe won't admit it!
